Mountain hike

October baseball is a marathon, but wow, was it worth every minute this year! Watching the Dodgers take it all was a wild ride &ndash; pure adrenaline, late nights, and nonstop excitement. It all started with the Padres, easily the toughest test of the postseason. That series was intense, had me on the edge of my seat every game. But once we got through San Diego, it felt like the Dodgers found their groove.
And that final showdown with the Yankees? Straight-up domination. The team was firing on all cylinders, and the crowd at Dodger Stadium was electric. Seeing them lift the trophy in LA was everything we&rsquo;d hoped for. It was exhausting, but I&rsquo;d do it all over again for October baseball like that! Here&rsquo;s to the boys in blue &ndash; 2024 champs!

October baseball is a marathon, but wow, was it worth every minute this year! Watching the Dodgers take it all was a wild ride – pure adrenaline, late nights, and nonstop excitement. It all started with the Padres, easily the toughest test of the postseason. That series was intense, had me on the edge of my seat every game. But once we got through San Diego, it felt like the Dodgers found their groove.

The World Series is here, and it feels like a dream matchup, Dodgers vs. Yankees. This is the kind of showdown that takes me back to my childhood, watching these two powerhouses battle it out in the '70s and '80s. I can still remember the 1981 series when the Dodgers pulled off that big win, and I&rsquo;m hoping for a repeat this year. It's one of those rare moments in baseball that really connects the past to the present.
I&rsquo;m excited, but I&rsquo;ll admit I&rsquo;m a bit nervous too. The Yankees are always a tough challenge, and this matchup has all the makings of a classic. Here&rsquo;s hoping the Dodgers can come out on top again and bring another title back to L.A. Let&rsquo;s go, Dodgers!

It was a beautiful day Sunday at the beach.&nbsp; &nbsp;Went sailing and ended up at Old Tony's for a sunset drink.

Meet Kenley, our adventurous Greater Swiss Mountain dog who usually roams the urban jungle, but was recently thrilled to explore the wild mountains. From hiking on massive boulders, walking in streams, to engaging with mountain cows, her journey was filled with discoveries. The twist? Kenley decided to roll in cow dung and truly immerse herself in nature's offerings. Yikes! Watch the video to see her in action.

So proud as my son Derek graduates from CU, having earned his BS in Business Administration, specializing in Entrepreneurialism. I have no doubt that his time in Boulder has prepared him well for what's to come. Had a blast in Salt Lake City, watching the first round of March Madness. The matchup between Long Beach State and Arizona didn't disappoint. Maddox's playing time towards the end was a pleasant sight!
